Running the hardwood tiles perpendicular to floor joists prevents them from drooping in the future. At joint of floor and wall leave a gap of 3/8 inch to aid in installation. This gap will be filled with trim. After Installation this floor will take 10 to 14 days to adjust. This duration will adjust the natural expending and contracting of materials.

Termite Proof Treatment for Hardwood

Termite proofing is very necessary for hardwood flooring. As it is a major problem for any type of woodwork soft or hardwood. Before the installation a spray of any termite proofing chemical is must under the sub floor in layers. All wooden material is also treated with anti termite chemical before use.
